Three Indonesian Best Restaurants in Asia

Indonesia puts three restaurants in the ranks of the top 101 best Asian culinary version of The Daily Meal website. Assessment is based on a dish from a restaurant-kesempuranaan the restroran.
"We chose a place that is known for doing something that is absolutely perfect," said Colman Andrews, editorial director of The Daily Meal as reported by the BBC, Thursday, May 16, 2013.
The top three from Indonesia is Mozaic (Bali), Garuda Padang Restaurant (Jakarta), and Baan Arya (Bintan Island). Mozaic are ranked number 64. Garuda Padang is ranked 79 and Baan Arya rated 101.
Especially for Baan Arya, Andrews has its own assessment. "We also consider that the restaurant serves food from other Asian countries and we find great Thai food at Baan Aarya, as well as Sushi Oyama in Shanghai," said Andrews.
Bersar five Chinese restaurants dominate this list. Din Tai Fung Restaurant (Taiwan), Duck de Chine (Beijing), and Green T. House (Beijing), Temple Restaurant (Beijing), and Capital M (Beijing) is a top five. Duck de Chine is second because the dishes are famous Peking duck. Green T. House is known for nouvele couisine.
Temple Restaurant was entered because it uses a style dining room serving modern European food. Capital M using couisine style buildings with views of the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.
"We felt for some time Shanghai has a good reputation as a city restaurant serving regional dishes thanks to the variety and the emergence of celebrity chefs from the West, but Beijing slowly starting to catch up," said Andrews.
Andrews said the list is based on the judgment of the critic and food writer as well as foreign nationals who have long settled in Asia. They also consider the quality of the food, style, price, and popularity.
Other restaurants are included in the list among others came from India, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
